Dalsouple Helpful Tips

U-Fit Flooring Supermarket can supply two types of Dalsouple flooring; textured design (relief) and smooth design (uni).

What size are the tiles?

• Textured tiles are 680mm x 680mm
• Smooth tiles are either 340mm x 340mm or 1760mm x 680mm

Subfloor Preparation

The ideal surface for an adhered Dalsouple flooring is clean, dry, level, sound and porous. Dalsouple tiles must not be installed on a damp floor.

For concrete floors we recommend a suitable smoothing compound and for timber floors we advise a 6mm plywood underlay.

Please note: After installation no wet cleaning should take place for 7 days until the adhesive has been fully cured.

Sealing Your Dalsouple Floor

We do recommend you have your Dalsouple flooring sealed after installation. Total Floor Care are a company which carries out this service; please contact them on 01278 652150 for further advice. Alternatively, you can buy a cleaning kit from our range of Dalsouple cleaning products.

Installing Dalsouple

It is advised that if you are not confident in laying rubber flooring you should find an experienced floor layer in your area. For more information please refer to the Dalsouple website.
