These natural plant materials are not only lovely to look at but also feel completely different to traditional carpets.

Helpful Tips

These floorcoverings respond to changes in temperature, therefore they should not be laid in kitchens, bathrooms or other areas of excessive damp/humidity.

Before installation they should be laid out for a minimum of 48 hours in the room they are to be installed in to allow them to acclimatise.

These natural floorcoverings can be installed by the following methods:

Direct Stick Method - Stick the material directly onto the subfloor.
Double Stick Method - Stick a recommended underlay to the subfloor, then stick the natural flooring direct to the underlay. This installation provides better underfoot comfort and improved appearance retention of the floorcovering.

Subfloors need to be clean, dry, smooth and dust free. Natural floorcoverings are not suitable in damp conditions. Please check the natural flooring you have chosen is compatible with your chosen area.
